The co-parenting planner

Everything you and the children's other parent need to agree, write down and come back to, in one place.

What children need most is predictable

Children cope best with separation when the adults around them are predictable. They know where they'll be sleeping, who's picking them up, and that Christmas has been sorted without a row.

This planner helps you get there. It covers the arrangements separated parents most often need to agree, with space to write down what you've decided. Fill it in together, or each fill in a copy and compare. If talking is hard right now, start on your own with the pages about the children.

Questions people ask

Is this legal advice?

No. It's a way to agree and record the practical arrangements. It works alongside the free online parenting plan from Cafcass, and it doesn't replace advice about your situation.

What if the other parent won't fill it in with me?

Start on your own. The pages about the children, contacts and routine are useful to have whatever happens, and you can share them when the time is right.

What if I'm afraid of the other parent?

A shared plan may not be safe, and that's all right. The planner includes free, 24-hour domestic abuse helpline numbers for every UK nation. In an emergency, call 999.

Will anyone know I've bought it?

Your payment shows under a short, neutral name that doesn't mention divorce, and the email with your download link comes from "DL Members" with a subject line that doesn't mention divorce either.

What if something's wrong with my download?

Email [email protected] and we'll put it right. If the file is faulty or isn't as described, you're entitled to a replacement or a refund.
