What’s in the library
Everything here comes with membership, alongside the organiser and the members’ rooms. Your divorce plan and all our guides stay free for everyone.
The money workbook, co-parenting planner and separation budget
The three downloads from our shop, which cost £40 when bought on their own.
Letters to fill in
Ready-worded letters for pension schemes, the credit reference agencies, your council, your mortgage lender, your bank, the school and more. Type your details and print, copy or save as a PDF.
Writing to your ex
Short, factual messages for the situations that come up again and again, from suggesting mediation to replying to an angry message without making things worse.
Telling the children
What to say at each age, what to avoid, and honest answers to the questions children ask.
After the final order
The life admin nobody tells you about, matched to your plan answers, with a tick for each job as you do it.
Twelve weeks
A programme you follow one week at a time: small practical steps, and looking after yourself while you take them.

Reminders before your dates
We can email you a week before each date in your plan: when you can apply for the conditional order, when you can apply for the final order, and a month before the 12 months after the conditional order run out. Parents also get a note in early December about agreeing Christmas arrangements. The emails come from “DL Members” and their subject lines don’t mention divorce.
Letters
Fill in your details and the letter writes itself. Nothing you type here is saved or sent anywhere: copy it, print it or save it as a PDF before you leave the page.
Template letters to help you get things done, not legal or financial advice. Check each one fits your situation before you send it.
Writing to your ex
Short and factual works best: one subject per message, no blame and a clear next step. Change the parts in square brackets, then copy the message into your email, text or co-parenting app.
If you’re afraid of your ex, you don’t have to write to them yourself. Call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline free on 0808 2000 247 (Refuge, for women) or the Men’s Advice Line on 0808 801 0327. In an emergency, call 999. Our safety page has helplines for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Telling the children
Choose your children’s age. If you have children of different ages, read each one: many families tell them together, then talk to each child on their own afterwards.
After the final order
The jobs that need doing once you’re divorced or separated. Tick each one off as you go; your ticks are saved to your account.
Twelve weeks
One week at a time, at your own pace. Each step takes less than an hour. Your ticks are saved, so you can stop and come back whenever you need to.
