Long-running UK divorce support community.

Peer support means talking to people who have been through a separation themselves. Online forums and communities let you ask questions at any hour, read how others handled the same problem and feel less alone. Other members can share what worked for them, but they can't give legal or financial advice on your case.

It helps most when you feel isolated, when you want to know what to expect next, or when friends and family have heard enough. Read a community's rules before you post. Good communities are moderated and let you take part without using your real name.
Wikivorce's forum is free to join, and it also sells fixed-fee services. The divorcd community is a paid membership with anonymous rooms for each stage of separation.
Look at how it is moderated, whether you can stay anonymous, and whether members' experiences are kept separate from professional advice. Be careful about sharing anything that could identify you, your ex or your children, and never share documents from family court proceedings.
