Where to find help with separation and divorce
The divorcd directory lists charities, public services and companies across the UK that help with separation and divorce. It covers free legal information, mediation, family solicitors, money and debt advice, housing, support for children and parents, mental health, domestic abuse services and life afterwards. Each organisation has its own page explaining what it does, who it helps, whether it is free and how to get in touch.
We include organisations because they are useful to people who are separating. Listings are for information and are not endorsements, and none of the organisations has paid to appear. Free help is marked on every card. Details can change, so check with the organisation before you rely on them.
Services and the law differ across the UK, so use the "Where you live" filter to see what is available in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. If you need a professional to act for you, such as a family solicitor or a mediator, find an expert or get matched with two or three who cover where you live.
